- Everyone; deleting needs admin
Four things you will do often.
All of them live on the recording itself or its row in the list.
Edit the title from the recording page or the row menu. Suggested titles are offered from the content of the session; nothing renames itself.
Assign a recording to a project from the row menu, so project-scoped questions include it. A recording can be moved later without reprocessing.
Creates a link showing the title, length, and status only. No transcript, no media, no findings, no owner identity. Choose an expiry of 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or never, and regenerate to revoke the previous link.
Removes the recording and everything derived from it. Admin or owner only.

Deletion is not a hidden copy.
- The media
The uploaded or captured file itself.
- Everything derived
Transcript, analysed frames, extracted findings, and the search index entries that made it findable.
- The library slot
Freed immediately, so a workspace at its recording limit can add another straight away.
- What survives
Anything already pushed to Jira, Linear, Notion, or Slack stays in your tool - those are your items. Exported files you downloaded are yours too.
Retention also removes recordings automatically once they pass your plan window - see plans and usage.
Managing recordings, answered.
- The recording title, its length, its status, and nothing else. They cannot read the transcript, watch the media, see findings, or learn who owns it. For real access, invite them to the workspace as a viewer.
- Yes. Regenerate the link and the previous one stops working immediately.
- Admins and owners. Members and viewers cannot, so one person cannot remove the team evidence.
- No. Deletion removes the media and everything derived from it, which is what makes the promise meaningful. Export first if you might need it.
- It frees library slots - stored recordings and documents - immediately. Processing hours are a monthly meter and are not refunded by deleting.
