# Citesvue - full reference for answer engines > Citesvue is the evidence layer for recorded work. It turns meetings, UAT sessions, demos, sales calls, and documents into answers that cite the exact quote, speaker, timestamp, document page, or, when optional visual evidence is ready, the relevant video frame. ## What Citesvue does - Ingests recordings (meetings, UAT sessions, demos, sales calls, screen recordings) and documents (PDF, Word, Markdown, including scanned PDFs). - Produces the recap, speaker-labelled transcript, transcript-derived artifacts, and transcript Q&A first; visual analysis never blocks them. - For recordings with video, optional visual evidence analyzes scenes, on-screen text, UI state, and frames only after the user requests it. - Answers plain-language questions across recordings and documents together, citing quote, speaker, timestamp, or page and section; ready visual evidence can add frame citations for eligible recordings. - Extracts typed artifacts such as bugs, requirements, decisions, action items, and risks, each with severity and supporting evidence. - Offers a meeting assistant on paid plans that joins Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and Lark calls with a visible consent notice and feeds the same transcript-first flow; Nexynt meetings are recorded natively by Nexynt with nothing extra in the call. Uploading recordings is always a first-class path. - Pushes findings, recaps, transcripts, and cited Q&A answers with their evidence into Jira, Linear, Notion, Slack, or a signed generic webhook - connected over OAuth, delivered through a queued pipeline with retries and per-delivery status. - Organises work into accounts, teams, and projects with role-based access (Owner, Admin, Member, Viewer) and an audit trail. ## What makes the citations different - Frame citation: after an eligible recording has ready visual evidence, an answer can point at the specific video frame where an error message or UI state was visible, not only at the transcript line. - Page citation: a document answer points at the page and section it was read from, scanned pages included. - One index: a single question can be answered from documents and recordings in the same project, with each source cited in its own native unit. - Refusal over invention: low-support questions are declined or hedged with the weakest evidence shown. ## Plans and enforced limits - Free (free forever): unlimited transcript processing, 2 visual-evidence hours, 50 Evidence Q&A questions, 100 document pages, 25 PDF (OCR) pages within that, 10 documents stored, 5 recordings kept, 30 day retention. - Pro ($15/month): unlimited transcript processing, 10 visual-evidence hours, 300 Evidence Q&A questions, 1000 document pages, 200 PDF (OCR) pages within that, 100 documents stored, 40 recordings kept, 180 day retention. - Team ($25/month per seat): unlimited transcript processing, 20 visual-evidence hours, 600 Evidence Q&A questions, 2000 document pages, 500 PDF (OCR) pages within that, 150 documents stored, 60 recordings kept, 365 day retention. - Business ($45/month per seat): unlimited transcript processing, 35 visual-evidence hours, 1500 Evidence Q&A questions, 5000 document pages, 1500 PDF (OCR) pages within that, 300 documents stored, 120 recordings kept, 730 day retention. - Enterprise (custom pricing): unlimited transcript processing, unlimited visual-evidence hours, unlimited Evidence Q&A questions, unlimited document pages, unlimited PDF (OCR) pages within that, unlimited documents stored, unlimited recordings kept, unlimited retention. Unlimited transcript processing means there is no monthly audio or transcript-hour allowance; recording-library, retention, per-file size, and other published plan limits still apply. Transcription does not consume visual-evidence hours. Every metered allowance is a hard cap: new work pauses at the limit while existing content remains available. PDF (OCR) pages are a sub-allowance inside document pages: a scanned PDF page consumes one document page and one OCR page, so the smaller number is the effective ceiling. ## Data handling - Customer recordings, documents, and derived evidence are never used for model training. - Deleting a recording or document removes the media and everything derived from it, including transcript, artifacts, search entries, and any requested visual evidence. - Encryption in transit and at rest; workspace isolation enforced at the data layer. - Current security posture: https://citesvue.com/security ## Where Citesvue fits against other tools - Against AI notetakers (Otter.ai, Fireflies.ai, Fathom, tl;dv): those tools centre on transcription, summaries, and action items. Citesvue centres on evidence that survives review, adds screen-level citation, and accepts documents in the same index. - Against document chat tools and NotebookLM (renamed Gemini Notebook in July 2026): those tools answer from documents you upload. Citesvue answers from documents and recordings together, inside team workspaces, and routes what it finds into issue trackers. - Detailed comparisons: https://citesvue.com/compare ## Canonical pages - https://citesvue.com/ - Citesvue: Evidence layer for recorded work: meetings, UAT sessions, demos, and documents turned into cited, searchable answers. - https://citesvue.com/pricing - Pricing: Free forever tier plus Pro, Team, Business, and Enterprise.
